Perfect for those who enjoy water sports, you can water ski, fish, swim, sail or canoe right from the banks of Lavender Hill. The large grounds offer opportunities to view unique native wildlife and birdlife including platypus, possums, and pelicans. Take time to enjoy some of the tropical fruit from the trees throughout the grounds, or feed the resident ducks and geese. Lavender Hill is your gateway to the many attractions of the Atherton Tablelands. Explore Waterfalls, historic Yungaburra markets, or the many famous produce attractions including a strawberry farm, chocolate factory, tropical winery, dairy farm and coffee farms.

This Winter at stunning Lake Tinaroo, enjoy magnificent, mild sunny days, and cozy nights tucked in by the fire place at Lavender Hill. The citrus trees have begun to fruit, and we have oranges, mandarins, lemonade fruit, lemons, and limes in abundance for our guests to enjoy. Try picking a few, and juicing them with the juicer provided in the pantry. Fresh juice goes beautifully with a BBQ breakfast on the verandah overlooking the lake. We can now offer Lavender Hill as a wedding and conference venue. It offers a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding, and an amazing variety of photographic settings, from the unique Tuscan style building, extensive gardens, and of course the Lake as a perfect background. We have our first wedding booked in September, which is always glorious weather. Also, the Christmas School Holiday period is filling fast, and we encourage you to book soon to secure a place. The Lake is almost full, just over 90% capacity at the time of writing, and a great time to enjoy skiing and boating in the deep water.  Black Bream are being caught frequently and are a great tasting fish, and one the children can enjoy catching also.
